Crostini are great way to impress your guests and make good use of yesterday’s baguette… I was inspired by Jamie Oliver (who else?) and his delicious crostini recipes.
For the above crostini, I toasted slices of baguette drizzled with olive oil in the oven until golden. I then rubbed half a clove of garlic on them while they were still warm to get a delicious hint of garlicy flavour. I spread slices of avocado on the cooled crostinis, piled on thin strips of prosciutto and topped them with a shaving of romano cheese. Incredible.
