With our new mandolin, I’ve been enjoying quickly slicing fruits and veggies for our recipes (yes, simple pleasures…). The latest was a big bowl of red potatoes to turn into oven-baked french fries.
The resulting slices are so nice and perfect.
I threw them in a big bowl to toss with olive oil…
… and other spices, such as paprika, chili powder, cumin powder, salt and pepper.
I baked them in the oven at 360F and baked them, stirring occasionally. The longer they stay in the oven the better, so the insides are super soft and the outsides are golden crispy.
